Project: Smartphone Application to Improve the On-Campus Student Experience

The aim of this project is to produce software which can help any new student at the university find the university experience easier. This program will act as a navigator, scheduler and communication device so that the student will have access to tools which will help them get to the correct class on-time. This will be developed mainly on Google Android as I already have some experience with this platform.
By the end of this project I hope that I will have found a new efficient way to run an application constantly, with the minimum ower usage and memory consumption. I also hope that this project will help on the way to getting a fully function system set up for the students in several years.
