Project: A Study on Software Comprehensibility Standards
Supervisor(s): Terry Woodings
Project status: complete semester 1, 2009

Software maintenance can be considered as the foremost activity in a software lifecycle and it could take up to 70% of the lifecycle's cost. This project aims to find a standard measure for Code Comprehensibility so as to pave the way for quality benchmarks. Higher comprehensibility will lower the time for software maintainers to understand code for maintenance activities, as well as possibly improve the reusability of code assets.
