1. Reread the information presented at the honours information meeting in October. Recall that all end-on honours students (BCM, BCompSci, and BSc) must apply for entry into the honours programme (see below).
2. Browse the list of prospective pre-defined projects to start to get a feel for potential areas of interest.
   Note that you do not need to select (or nominate for) a project before the start of semester. Please feel free however to discuss potential projects in which you may be interested with academic staff before the start of semester. You will need to find a supervisor yourself; you will not be allocated one. That is, it is your responsibility to find a project supervisor.

3. Attend the induction meeting sheduled for 11:30am on Thursday, 19 February 2009. Slides from the induction meeting are now available from the Resources page.

Note: students who recently completed the requirements for their undergraduate pass degree and wish to enter into (BCM, BCompSci, and BSc) end-on honours must complete an application form to enter into the honours programme. Application forms are available from Student Administration or from an administrative officer in Room 1.31 of the Computer Science building. Completed applications should be returned to the School of Computer Science & Software Engineering before Tuesday, 16 December 2008. Late applications may still be considered. Do not attempt to enrol (through Student Administration) into the honours programme until you receive a letter from Student Administration advising you to do so.
