Contact Hours
You are required to attend three lectures
and three 1-hour tutorial
sessions per week. It is important that you sign up your tutorial
classes on OLCR. A six-point unit is deemed
to be equivalent to one
quarter of a full-time workload, and so you will be expected to commit
10-12 hours per week to the unit, averaged over the entire semester.
Careful attention to time management will be needed to ensure that you
are not overloaded when deadlines approach.
Assessment
The assessment scheme for
GENG2140 consists of 6 assignments
(total = 50%) and a three-hour
examination (total = 50%).
Matlab
programming code for the assignments is submitted using the cssubmit program, and hard copy
reports to the assignment box(es)
of the Engineering School to which
you belong.
