- Octave GNU's
MATLAB equivalent. Octave is a very viable alternative to MATLAB.
Much of your MATLAB code will run under Octave with little or no
modification. Most of the changes that you might need will be due
to the fact that plotting and visualization of data is not as well
developed under Octave as they are under MATLAB.
- MATLAB mode file for emacs If you are an
emacs user download this file into your home directory and follow the
instructions for editing your .emacs file. This will give you syntax highlighting, appropriate block indenting and many other features.
