DSA Notes

Notes are provided in Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format), the current defacto standard for document distribution. They can be viewed using a range of free viewers including Apple Preview, Adobe Reader and Ghostview.

If you are using the Apple iMacs, the pdf documents should automatically open in the Safari browser (which uses a Preview plugin).

4 per Page Printing

If you are printing the notes it is recommended you print 4 per page in order to save paper. Under Safari, choose File|Print. Click on the drop down menu that says "Copies & Pages", and select "Layout". Set "Pages per Sheet" to 4, and "Layout Direction" to the 4th option. You might also like to add a hairline border. Finally choose "Preview" to check that you have it set up correctly. This will open the 4-per-page document in Preview, which you can then print if correct.
