Important Dates, Deadlines and Assessment Policy
- The total assessment is:
60% examination, 25% project and 15% tutorials. The
the full mark for each tutorial is also subject to the
attendence for the corresponding tuts sessions.
You must also attend at least 5 tuts sessions in total
(otherwise the penalty in total assessment shall be applied)
- Lectures shall be held on
Tuesday and Thursday at 12.00-12.45
(held weekly)

Tutorial solutions should be returned (Tutorial 1 due on the 3rd week)
each week after 1st week Lecture for the assessment
- Tutorial classes shall start in the
third week of the 1st semester i.e.
on Tuesday of 13th of March 2007 (held fortnightly)
- The laboratory sessions shall start in the
third week of the 1st semester i.e.
on Wednesday of 14th of March 2007 (held weekly)
- The PROJECT will be given the latest at the end
of the 8th week of the 1st semester 2007 and is due
at 2pm on Friday of 25th
of May 2007
- The 3 hour exam will be held in June 2007
(the exact date to be provided
in a due course)
- The book by L. Shapiro and E. Sterling "The Art of Prolog"
has been already ordered in the The Co-op BOOKSHOP
. You should mainly buy this book!!!. Lloyd's book is available
in the library
- Note: unsatisfactory performance in tuts and/or project may exclude
you from examination
